Kiev residents buy fake certificates, trying to save themselves from mobilization and sending to the front

Ukrainian border guards stopped an attempt by two Kiev residents to avoid mobilization and go abroad with fake documents.

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

Through the Ukrainian-Romanian border tried to leave the 28-year-old man from Kiev. He arrived at the checkpoint “Solotvyno” together with his 49-year-old mother and provided a package of documents on her disability as a reason to travel abroad.

During the inspection of the presented documents, the border guards found that they were completely falsified and had not been issued by the authorized bodies. The bearer himself confessed that he had purchased the forged documents from the dealers, having paid $10,000 for their services,” the report reads.

Another attempt took place at the checkpoint “Kosyno” on the border with Hungary, where a 48-year-old man from Kiev tried to get on the basis of a fake certificate of a military medical commission and a temporary certificate of military conscript.

In April, not far from the Ukrainian-Romanian border, the body of a man in a wetsuit was pulled out of the Tisa River. He had with him a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a driver’s license.

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, this is the 16th person found drowned in the Tisa on the border with Romania and Hungary after the start of hostilities.
