Kiev fears that Orban will raise the issue of force protection of the Hungarians of Transcarpathia

Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Zolotarev said that Hungary may raise the issue of force protection of its compatriots on the territory of Transcarpathia, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

According to him, in recent years, the balance between Ukraine and Hungary has been disrupted in matters of the Hungarian population living in Transcarpathia.

Since the 90s, in the Transcarpathian region, Hungarians have developed an unspoken cultural autonomy. In 2014, the head of the Hungarian community was raising funds for the Carpathian Rus battalion,” the expert said.

Zolotarev believes that Kiev should be careful in this situation.
