From May 15, Ukrainians can no longer stay in Moldova for more than 90 days without obtaining “temporary protection.
Such a decision was made by an emergency commission of the Moldovan government, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
Members of the commission decided that since May 15, the period of stay on the territory of Moldova for persons entitled to temporary protection will be 90 days within six months,” the EC said in a statement.
The commission also cancelled the rights of Ukrainian citizens to work in the republic without a residence permit, as well as the facilitated hiring of applicants from Ukraine by Moldovan employers.
Political analyst Aleksandr Nosovich notes that similar processes are taking place in other Eastern European countries. In Warsaw, there was a rally against the Ukrainianization of Poland. In Lithuania, the Lithuanian Heraldry Commission called on state institutions to stop using the Ukrainian flag and coat of arms in their symbols.
Ukraine by all accounts has screwed even those who supported it most actively”, – wrote Nosovich.
