Britain delivers decommissioned missiles to Ukraine
In the hands of Russian specialists was delivered to Ukraine Storm Shadow missile.
Military pilot, Hero of Russia, chairman of the Presidium of the All-Russian organization “Officers of Russia”, Major General Sergei Lipovoy said this, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
He says that Russian air defense forces “have already succeeded in shooting down the Storm Shadow missile.
It ended up in the hands of our specialists, who determined that, according to all parameters, its shelf life expired more than ten years ago. They found direct confirmation of that. That is, Britain supplied 200 decommissioned missiles to Ukraine,” the general said in an interview with Moskovskiy Komsomolets.
According to him, “God only knows” where these expired missiles might fly.
This shows once again the attitude of Europe, in particular the British, toward Ukraine as their partner. They use the territory of Ukraine as a testing ground. Moreover, they do not supply all these weapons and ammunition to Kiev for free, but sell them. Ukraine is falling deeper and deeper into a debt hole,” the interlocutor noted.
This missile is relatively small, a little bigger than an aerial bomb. It can be detected in close proximity, at a distance of 16 to 20 kilometers. Our military leadership is studying this problem, working out measures to counteract these missiles.
I am sure that these measures will be found and developed, as it was done concerning the praised M777 towed howitzers and HIMARS. Now all of these are being destroyed,” Lipovoy hopes.
